I was honored this week to receive a Bammy award nomination in the category of "Middle School Teacher"! What was most humbling was the fact that in the write up, all the wonderful things my students are doing were the focus. This is awesome because it really is all about what they are doing, not me. Each and everyday I am so proud of the things they are creating and sharing with each other and the world at large.
I feel like this experience, wherever it may lead, helps to show us all that when you are engaged in meaningful work with students people take notice. I am so grateful for all the smart, thoughtful and generous people who share their expertise with me regularly, we grow together. Thank you to everyone who helps supports and encourages me to pursue my passion- education.
