Challenge accepted!

No one writer, researcher, or teacher for that matter has impacted my educational philosophy as profoundly as Rick Wormeli. His book "Meet me in the middle" was a gift during my first year of teaching ten years ago. I remember being truly inspired by his words and impressed with the courage to get to every kid and have them be successful. I recently saw the following video from Rick on the topic of re-dos and felt a similar sense of inspiration. After the video I was convinced, so starting today I tried a form of re-do's and overall the response has been very positive. Students were thankful, and yes their grades were better. So, Rick, thank you for your video. It shifted my paradigm on this topic and looking towards the future when I think of using re-do's in my classes I say challenge accepted!
